Work occasionally with shelter youth for a group activity under the supervision of shelter staff.

 


Shelter Group Activities

Hold periodic group activities of interest to the youth in a skill/activity area of your choice, under supervision of shelter staff at all times.  Activities might include:

 

Arts & Crafts

Music
Tutoring

Reading
Self-esteem building

Cooking

Share your hobby


Hours available:  During summer months, weekdays (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 p.m.) or weekends. During school months, late afternoons and weekends (confirm your hours with staff).

Skills required:  knowledge of area of interest, ability to work with youth.
