About North Texas Youth Connection
 |
|
|
North Texas Youth Connection was founded in 1979 (under the name Grayson
County Juvenile Alternatives, Inc.) by a group of concerned citizens to
address the needs of runaway and homeless youth. Services offered
have expanded and modified to keep up with the ever-changing needs of
youth and families. Services now include a shelter for runaway,
homeless and abused youth ages 10-17; free counseling for youth ages
0-17 and their families in ten counties in North Texas; and community
outreach and prevention services.
North Texas Youth Connection is a private 501(c)3 non-profit
organization governed by a Board of Directors and supported by and
Advisory Board, Safe Place Advisory Board, and Youth Advocacy Council.
Our Mission:
North Texas Youth Connection provides
opportunities
to enable youth and families to develop
a positive
healthful lifestyle by promoting their
safety and well-being.
